Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data I.TRAXE collects through itraxe.in, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Who we are

I.TRAXE is a women's personal safety startup based in India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean I.TRAXE.

What we collect

• WhatsApp orders and enquiries: your phone number and whatever you share with us in the chat, such as your name and delivery address, if you place an order.
• Website usage data: Google Analytics records anonymous usage information such as pages visited, device type, browser and approximate location. It uses cookies for this.
• Reviews: the name, rating and review text you submit are stored on Google Firebase and shown publicly on our website. Please do not put your phone number, address or other personal details in a review.

What we do not collect

The I.TRAXE keychain sends your SOS location as an SMS directly to the trusted phone number you set up. We do not receive, store or see these alerts. We do not collect payment card details on this website.

Why we use your data

• To reply to your messages and answer your questions.
• To process orders, delivery and setup support.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To show your review on the website, if you submit one.

We use your data only for these purposes, and only with your consent or where you have contacted us yourself.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with services needed to run the website and talk to you:

• Google Analytics (usage statistics)
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us through it
• Google Firebase (stores and displays the reviews you submit)
• Courier partners, only the name, address and phone number needed to deliver an order

We may also disclose data if the law or a government authority requires it.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see which pages people use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and order details only as long as needed to help you and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Then we delete them.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

• ask what personal data of yours we hold,
• ask us to correct or update it,
• ask us to delete it,
• withdraw your consent at any time, and
• make a complaint to us, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.

To have your review removed, or to use any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp from the number you used and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is not meant for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no website or message can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page.

Contact and grievance officer
